Monsoon Malabar

Monsoon Malabar

Monsooning is a unique post harvest process which imbibes special characteristics to the bean. Only the finest and bold AA Arabicas are selected for monsooning. These coffees are then transported to the shore where they are tied in jute bags and hung against the sea shore in the months of June to August. As it is the time of the year when it rains almost everyday, the coffee interacts with the natural rain for months, and also with the tides from the sea at night, resulting in a very salty flavor in the coffee.

This unique hand crafted process makes this coffee a tedious process to execute but is worth every bit when the first sip hits your pallet.
